PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY. BY REGISTERING, YOU AGREE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABIILTY. You are agreeing that you are aware that this is a release of liability by Court It Up, LLC. and is a contract between myself (and those I register) and Court It Up, LLC.
ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAILING TO AGREE TO THESE TERMS PRIOR TO A COURT IT UP, LLC. SANCTIONED EVENT IS ON THE REPRESENTATIVE WHO REGISTERS A TEAM:
- Eligibility: Participants must be 14 years of age or older, and possess a reasonable level of tennis proficiency, as well as a clean bill of health.
- Registration: Participants must be registered by an academy coach or team owner.
- Equipment and Attire: Participants are responsible for providing their own equipment and wearing appropriate tennis attire.
- Schedule: Participants must commit to the league schedule once posted. Rescheduling may be allowed if all participants directly agree and coordinate an alternative, like in such cases of sickness or inclement weather or emergencies.
- Rules of Play: The league will follow Intercollegiate Tennis Association rules, as can be found at https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2013/12/5/tennis-rules-of-the-game.aspx
- Conduct: Participants are expected to exhibit sportsmanship and respect towards opponents, officials, and staff. Misconduct may result in penalties or disqualification.
- Photo and Video Release: Participants may be photographed or recorded during events, and these images or videos may be used for promotional purposes.
- Changes to Terms: The league reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.
Participation Waiver for a Tennis League Company
BY REGISTERING AN ACEDEMY FOR COURT IT UP EVENTS, THE REGISTRANT (IE, THE REPRESENTATIVE OR COACH WHO SIGNS UP A TEAM) TAKES RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMMUNICATING AND GETTING AGREEMENT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS, WAIVERS, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITIES TO THE REGISTERED ACADEMY PARTICIPANTS, AND ACCEPTS ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR FAILING TO DO SO:
- Assumption of Risk: I understand that tennis involves physical exertion and carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries. I / my team willingly assume these risks.
- Release: I / my team members hereby release Court It Up, its directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising out of or in any way related to my participation in the league.
- Medical Treatment: In the event of an injury, I / my team members consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable for injuries sustained and release Court It Up from any claims related to this treatment.
- Fitness to Participate: I affirm that I am / my team members are physically fit to participate safely in tennis activities and have no medical condition that would endanger myself / themselves or others.
- Understanding of Terms: I have read this waiver and fully understand its terms. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Court It Up.
